The Cécile Tremblay Estate is located in the heart of the Côte de Nuits in France, the quintessential wine region, in the commune of Morey-Saint-Denis. This family estate was founded in 1954 by Cécile Tremblay and her husband Marcel, and is now managed by their daughter Hélène Tremblay. This small winery is one of the smallest properties in the Côte de Nuits, but it is also one of the most authentic and qualitative. The vineyard of the Cécile Tremblay Estate has a size of 1.17 hectares, entirely surrounded by vines bearing the Grand Cru and Premier Cru appellations. The estate produces only red wines under the AOC Morey-Saint-Denis, Côte de Nuits-Villages and Vosne-Romanée. The Estate expands their range every year with the addition of two or three wines from Grand Cru or Premier Cru vineyards. The soils around the farm are very varied; ranging from limestone sands on the surface to clayey sands on the hills and their slopes. The vineyard is produced using traditional methods. The clay tones and presence of clay contribute significantly to the quality of their wines. The vineyards are conscientiously grown and respect nature. The vines are mainly between 50 and 65 years old. At Cécile Tremblay, the goal is to produce pure terroir wines, with rare aromatic expressions and complex flavors. The product range includes a variety of aromatic and concentrated wines from Côte de Nuits-Villages, Morey-Saint-Denis and Vosne-Romanée. This Estate has a unique tradition and offers products with natural and complex flavors, as well as deep and characterful wines. The wines benefit from exceptional typicity. Over time, the quality and value of the products have grown, and are now highly appreciated by professionals and wine lovers around the world.
