The wine region of Arkadia
PGI in the heart of the Peloponnese on the mountainous high plateaus of Arcadia (~650 m), cool climate with late harvests (sometimes mid-November). Moschofilero is the indigenous signature in white and rosé: aromatic and floral with rose, citrus, exotic fruit and a spiced touch, lively acidity and low alcohol. Cabernet, Merlot and Syrah offer structured reds with dark fruit. Also vibrant Moschofilero rosés.
The wine region of Peloponnesos
Southern Greece, the country's 2nd region by volume, high-altitude vineyards (200-900 m). Signature Agiorgitiko at Nemea ("Hercules' Blood"): deep ruby reds with signature notes of black cherry, plum, blackberry, sweet spices and a balsamic touch, supple tannins and a velvety palate — fleshy and accessible. At Mantinia (600 m), pink-skinned Moschofilero gives aromatic whites (rose, citrus, white flowers). Sweet fortified Mavrodaphne, fresh Roditis.
The word of the wine: Biodynamic (agriculture)
Organic agriculture is part of a vision of the world linking the plant and all living beings to the cosmos and basing work in the vineyard and the cellar on the cycles of the moon.
