The wine region of Griotte-Chambertin Grand Cru is located in the region of Gevrey-Chambertin of Burgundy of France. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine des Chezeaux or the Domaine Ponsot produce mainly wines red. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Griotte-Chambertin Grand Cru are Pinot noir, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Griotte-Chambertin Grand Cru often reveals types of flavors of cherry, dark fruit or dried flowers and sometimes also flavors of cheese, perfume or vegetal.
