The Talbott Estate, nestled in the heart of the magnificent Central Coast region of California, is a sizable vineyard, globally acclaimed for its production of exceptionally high-quality wines. Founded in 1982 by Robert Talbott and his wife Audrey, the Talbott Estate proudly stands on 138 hectares of vineyards, offering a perfect blend of the region's bucolic hilly landscape and the modern lines of its wine production facilities. The estate is best known for its varieties of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, which reflect the great variability of the soils and microclimates of the Central Coast. The estate's vineyards, notably the iconic Sleepy Hollow and Diamond T vineyards, are planted on clay-limestone soils and benefit from the refreshing influence of the Pacific, creating ideal conditions for producing wines with complex and balanced nuances. The Talbott Estate is firmly committed to a sustainable, environmentally friendly approach. Water recycling, use of solar energy, preservation of wildlife habitats, all aspects of the estate are designed to minimize its impact on the environment. To enter it is to have the opportunity to experience a tailored wine tasting, in a convivial and hospitable setting. Visitors are encouraged to immerse themselves in the wine-making process, to roam the vineyards, and to sit down for a tasting of artisanal wines accompanied by an experienced sommelier. The estate also offers an exceptional shop, where visitors can purchase the wines produced on-site, as well as other souvenir items. From time to time, special events, such as candlelit dinners in the cellar or outdoor concerts in the vineyards, are organized for the visitors' enjoyment.
