Sub-AVA of south-west San Benito (California, Central Coast): the warmest in the county as it lies lowest, cooled by Monterey Bay breezes drawn up the valley — marked diurnal swings and a long season. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Grenache and Chardonnay with fruity, dense and concentrated profiles.
