The Domaine Dumien Serrette is a rich wine estate located in the South-East Rhône in Cornas, at the foot of Mount Cornas. The estate gets its name from a cautious crop rotation, established in 1790. Five generations later, in 2014, Pascal and Sylvie Serrette settled on the family wine estate. The domain has a Mediterranean climate with hot summers and mild winters. Vineyards and orchards make up the Dumien Serrette landscape. The crops include Syrah vines, reds, fallow plots, and cherry, pear, apple, nut trees, and olives, offering exceptional biodiversity and a complex ensemble. The domain has a unique pair of red granitic soils and volcanic pebbles full of minerals which, with the climate, give an incomparable terroir to produce rich, well-balanced, and deep wines. The vines are worked using traditional methods, framed by eco-responsible practices. The domain currently offers a full range of red and white wines, including classified Cornas crus. Each wine expresses the full richness and the terroir of the estate. The grapes are hand-picked from mature vines and vinified separately. The wines are harvested and vinified with the utmost care, to ensure that each wine will express their unique terroir. Domaine Dumien Serrette is greatly committed to quality and sustainability, both being fundamental and applicable values in the culture, blending, and treatment of wines. Efforts to maintain a healthy environment are sincere and robust, with its low-dose ethanol reducing pollution and its zero-pesticide policy. The terroir, the style of the wines, the ecological spirit, and the dedicated quality approach by Pascal and Sylvie, make Domaine Dumien Serrette an exceptional place to taste unique and varied wines, reflecting the best of nature and the inimitable character of the estate.
