Domaine Julien is a winery located in Côte de Nuits Villages, in the south of Burgundy, France. For nearly five centuries, the Julien family has put all their efforts into producing authentic and remarkable wines. This winemaking dynasty, which currently spans eight generations, is committed to reproducing the best of their exceptional terroir and preserving their family history. The estate is located in Côte de Nuits Villages, east of the Burgundy wine region. It covers more than 12 hectares of vineyards, surrounded by beautiful landscapes. Their terroirs have been carefully selected to offer the best of the region and enable the Julien family to produce exceptional wines. The vines are cultivated with respect for the principles of organic farming: no chemical products, careful management of organic fertilizers and hand-handling of the grapes. The winemakers also own a magnificent winemaking cellar, where each cuvée is bottled by hand and aged in their own barrels before being commercialized. This allows the Julien heirs to control each step of the manufacturing process and guarantee the optimal quality of their wines. Domaine Julien currently produces four red wine cuvées: the "Vieilles Vignes", the "Vieilles Vignes-Cote de Nuits-Villages", the "Premiers Crus", and the "Grand Cru". All these wines have an excellent balance between the tannins, the structure, and delicacy and subtle notes of red and black fruits. Wine lovers can also taste white wines made from the chardonnay grape variety from the estate's vineyards. Thanks to their dedication and centuries-old know-how, the Julien family has succeeded in producing remarkable wines and making a name for themselves in the wine industry. Domaine Julien wines are now globally recognized and highly recommended, and their success is the fruit of their heritage and passion.
