The Domaine du Vieux Collège is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of the Côte de Nuits, in Burgundy, France. It's a family-run business, deeply rooted in the tradition of winemaking, while constantly innovating to produce the best possible wines. The estate is nestled in the small town of Corcelles-les-Arts, where it was founded in the 1950s by the Durand family. They now own about 19 hectares of vineyards spread between the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune, the two most prestigious wine regions in Burgundy. On visiting the Domaine du Vieux Collège, you are immersed in a hilly landscape of lush vineyards, dotted with parcels of land of varying colours, from emerald green to earthy brown, reflecting the diversity of the soils. Here, they cultivate a variety of grape varieties, but Pinot Noir and Chardonnay dominate, as in most estates in Burgundy. The winemaking process at the Domaine du Vieux Collège is a fusion of modern and traditional techniques.
