Belgium's first organized PDO (Wallonia, 2004) in the Meuse basin (Sambre, Ourthe, Amblève, Semois), ~30 ha on clay-limestone soils, cool northern climate. Chardonnay flagship white: lively and straight with green apple, citrus, white flowers and mineral touch, tense thirst-quenching acidity.
