Discover the grape variety: Datal

Simple, fresh dry whites with a pale golden robe, a supple palate with moderate acidity on undemonstrative citrus and white flower aromas. Discreet rustic profile. Preserved in a few ampelographic collections, it belongs to the ancient varieties with patrimonial value whose commercial diffusion has virtually disappeared and which are studied for their genetic and historical interest. Rare and poorly documented white variety, grown in confidential quantities.

The wine region of Eastern Pryazovia

Ukraine's smallest wine zone (<5,000 ha) northeast of the Sea of Azov, temperate continental climate, saline soils and fertile chernozems. Saperavi signature red king (Georgian grape adopted): intense and structured with blackberry, black cherry, plum, herbs, leather and spicy touch, firm tannins and lively acidity. Dense Cabernet Sauvignon and spiced Odessa Black as complement. Lively Aligoté and aromatic Muscat Odessa in whites.

The wine region of Кубань

Russia's leading wine region (Krasnodar Krai) between the Black Sea and Sea of Azov, ~50% of Russian wine. Mediterranean to sub-tropical climate. Firm signature Cabernet Sauvignon with signature notes of cassis, blackberry, cedar and a spicy touch, structured tannins. Round Merlot (plum, cherry), dense Saperavi (black cherry, ink), native Krasnostop (blackberry, pepper).

The word of the wine: Liquid

Sweet wine containing more than 50 grams of residual sugar per liter. Sweet wines are made from grapes often affected by botrytis cinerea and concentrated either by passerillage (drying of the grapes on the vine stock), or after the harvest (straw wines), or by the cold (ice wines).
