More informations about the variety Chasselas

Light, lively whites with a tender palate and low acidity, with discreet aromas of fresh hazelnut, white flowers, light honey, apple and strongly terroir-driven mineral notes ("chameleon wine" of Swiss soils). Made as dry, often slightly sparkling whites. Absolute star of Vaud (Dézaley, Calamin, Lavaux Grand Cru) and Valais (Fendant) in Switzerland. Also in Pouilly-sur-Loire AOC and the German Jura. Excellent table grape.

More informations about the region of Valais

Emblematic Grand Cru lieu-dit of Vétroz in central Valais (historic hamlet of Domaine Jean-René Germanier), alluvial and glacial terroirs well exposed, dry warm foehn microclimate. Amigne indigenous signature in a powerful, velvety white with intense notes of candied citrus, ripe stone fruits, honey, linden blossom and a refined alpine-mineral touch, from dry to lusciously sweet. Fendant and fine Pinot Noir as complements. Valais elite.
