The wine region of Clear Lake is located in the region of Lake County of California of United States. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Arnot-Roberts or the Domaine Arnot-Roberts produce mainly wines red, white and pink. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Clear Lake are Malbec, Zinfandel and Cabernet-Sauvignon, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Clear Lake often reveals types of flavors of cherry, spices or rhubarb and sometimes also flavors of non oak, earth or microbio.
In the mouth of Clear Lake is a powerful with a nice balance between acidity and tannins. We currently count 14 estates and châteaux in the of Clear Lake, producing 26 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Clear Lake go well with generally quite well with dishes of beef, lamb or veal.
