Discovering the wine region of Kumeu
The wine region of Kumeu is located in the region of Auckland of North Island of New Zealand. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Kumeu River or the Domaine Kumeu River produce mainly wines white, red and pink. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Kumeu are Chardonnay, Pinot noir and Pinot gris, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. Alsace Riesling must be ‘dry’, says wine body proposal
Starting with the 2021 vintage, non-late harvest Alsace Riesling must be ‘dry’, as defined by EU regulations, according to a proposed decree agreed by a two-thirds majority of the Alsace Winegrowers’ Association (AVA).
