The wine region of del Frusinate is located in the region of Latium of Italy. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Corte dei Papi or the Domaine Macciocca produce mainly wines white, red and pink. The most planted grape varieties in the region of del Frusinate are Maturana blanca, Merlot and Cabernet-Sauvignon, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of del Frusinate often reveals types of flavors of earth, tree fruit or citrus fruit and sometimes also flavors of tropical fruit, microbio or non oak.
In the mouth of del Frusinate is a powerful with a nice freshness. We currently count 28 estates and châteaux in the of del Frusinate, producing 66 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of del Frusinate go well with generally quite well with dishes of pasta, vegetarian or appetizers and snacks.

The small island of Gorgona, just off the coast of Livorno, isn’t your run-of-the-mill viticultural area – its main purpose is to serve as a penal colony. Not just any prisoner can reside on Gorgona, however. Up to 90 incarcerated men live on the island at a time, alongside 17 residents and a handful of police officers.
