The wine region of King Valley is located in the region of North East Victoria of Victoria of Australia. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Pizzini or the Domaine Dal Zotto produce mainly wines red, white and sparkling. The most planted grape varieties in the region of King Valley are Sangiovese, Cabernet-Sauvignon and Riesling, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of King Valley often reveals types of flavors of cherry, mushroom or red fruit and sometimes also flavors of forest floor, vanilla or leather.
In the mouth of King Valley is a powerful with a nice freshness. We currently count 117 estates and châteaux in the of King Valley, producing 425 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. Gewurztraminer rosé is a grape variety that originated in France. It produces a variety of grape specially used for wine making. It is rare to find this grape to eat on our tables. This variety of vine is characterized by small bunches and small grapes. Gewurztraminer rosé can be found in many vineyards: Alsace, Loire Valley, Languedoc & Roussillon, Jura, Champagne, Lorraine, Provence & Corsica, Rhone Valley, Savoie & Bugey, Beaujolais, South West.
white wines from the region of King Valley go well with generally quite well with dishes of sweet desserts, rich fish (salmon, tuna etc) or shellfish such as recipes of very simple muffins, sun wheat or natural breton lobster.
