Intensely coloured and powerful reds with a deep colour, firm tannins and high acidity, on aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant, plum, garrigue, pepper, liquorice and balsamic notes. Old vines (>50 years, often centenary) yield exceptional cuvées. A historical pillar of Languedoc-Roussillon blends (Corbières, Minervois, Fitou, Maury) and star of Catalan Priorat under the name Cariñena. The wine region of Danube
Danubian plain of northern Bulgaria, temperate continental climate tempered by the river, fertile chernozem soils. Gamza (Kadarka) is the signature indigenous red king: supple and juicy with red and black fruits, plum, soft spices, walnuts and vanilla touch, melting tannins and fruity freshness. Light Pamid for everyday, dense Cabernet Sauvignon, supple Merlot in complement. Riesling crisp, Chardonnay broad, Muscat Ottonel aromatic, Gewürztraminer floral in whites.
The word of the wine: Ventilation
Aeration is the process of decanting the wine to oxygenate it and thus promote the expression of the aromatic range and the harmony of the flavours.
