Recognized as being native to the Peloponnese in Greece, today very present in the Cyclades islands (Paros in particular and a little in Syros, Mykonos, Santorini, ...), in the island of Evia, ... . The wine region of Valence
Valencia is a province in the centre of Spain's sunny east coast, perhaps better known for its oranges (and paella) than its wine.
