The wine region of Bad Dürkheim
Bad Dürkheim is an important German wine town in the North of the Pfalz wine region. The spa town was granted its Bad- affix in 1904, in recognition of its Mineral springs (bad means 'bath'). The Vineyards here are best known for their ripe, Complex Riesling wines. These are among the most flavorful of all German Rieslings, thanks to the Warm, Dry Climate.

Wine groups welcome UK New Zealand trade deal
A trade deal signed by the UK and New Zealand this week promises benefits for winemakers, merchants and drinkers, according to industry bodies.
