The Montirius Estate is located on the left bank of the Southern Rhône Valley in France, specifically in the charming village of Revest du Bion. It is known for its wonderful, affordable organic wines produced in its modern winery. The Montirius Estate is now an integral part of the French wine region and has been managed by the same family for eleven generations. The estate spans over 104 hectares of land surrounding the village, including olive groves, vineyards, orchards, and meadows. They cultivate vines on clayey and limestone soils stretching from the foothills of the Cévennes to the Palanque national forest, generating red, white, and rosé wines. Montirius is dedicated to promoting ecological and organic farming practices due to their low impact on the environment. The wines are grown according to organic farming principles and are certified by the Ecocert France label. They are also members of the Vignerons en Développement Durable and the Terre de Vignerons organizations. The vines are bathed in the generous sunlight of the Pyrenees, which creates a magical array of colors for the ripe grape clusters and their surroundings. This unique microclimate, so precious to the Montirius Estate, abounds in subtle shades and nuances, lending charm and character to its wines. They are crafted with a variety of grape types, including Syrah, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan, and Viognier. The Montirius Estate is renowned for its remarkable and affordable wines, as well as its idyllic conditions and bucolic setting. The perfect blends of rich terroirs, noble grape varieties, and eco-friendly farming practices are reflected in every bottle of their distinguished wines. The Southern Rhône Valley is undoubtedly a must-see among French vineyards, and the Montirius Estate stands out as one of the best.

Roussane is a white grape variety, planted on an area of more than 700 ha. Originally from Montélimar, it is also found in Savoie, Languedoc and Roussillon, and grows very well in calcareous, poor, stony soil. It prefers to be pruned short. Roussane is also called fromenteau, barbin or bergeron. The young leaves are bubbled with fine down. When adult, they become thicker. It flowers in June and matures in mid-September. The grapes are cylindrical in shape, the berries are small and turn red when ripe, and the wine produced from pure Roussane is of extraordinary quality. It has a delicate aroma reminiscent of coffee, honeysuckle, iris and peony. The taste of this wine improves with age. It is part of the blend of the appellations Vin-de-Savoie, Côtes-du-Vallée du Rhône or Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
