An interspecific cross, obtained in Russia in 1947, between Severnyj - a relative of Vitis amurensis - and Muscat à petits grains blancs, which is also said to have Muscat fleur d'oranger and Muscat d'Alexandrie. The wine region of Duché-d'Uzès
The Duchy of Uzès refers to a territory whose history has marked that of wines since Greek times. This county town is also home to an AOC Duché d'Uzès appellation.
