The Les Grandes Serres Estate located in the southern Rhone in France is one of the oldest wineries in the region. For over 200 years, the family that runs this vineyard has been producing excellent wines. In these lands bathed in Mediterranean sun, the Les Grandes Serres poplar plantation extends over more than 15 hectares and shelters a large number of native grape varieties, hand-cultivated by vintners from father to son. The terroir of the estate is fertile and rich in nuances and gives rise to a wide variety of wines, ranging from grand crus such as the famous Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Gigondas to fragrant and aromatic table wines. Among the other grapes produced are Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsault, and Viognier. The Les Grandes Serres Estate is committed to preserving traditions respecting a natural and authentic mode of production. Manual labor is favored, and chemical treatments are kept to a minimum. The rigorous selection of grapes and wise aging are the keys that make it possible to obtain wines that are both elegant and expressive. At Les Grandes Serres Estate, vintners dedicate themselves to quality and authenticity in order to produce top-tier wines. The cellar is open to the public and offers guided tours and outdoor wine tastings that allow the discovery of the Rhone wine universe and a taste of the many local appellations. The vintners are also happy to share their history and unveil to their visitors the secrets of their art.
