Located in the splendid region of Salento, in southern Italy, the Domaine Feudi di Guagnano vineyard is renowned for the production of both refined and authentically Italian wines. Named after the small town of Guagnano, this establishment is a gem of the Italian wine heritage. Feudi di Guagnano is, above all, a story of passion and tradition. Founded by a group of five friends and wine enthusiasts, the estate was created with the mission of protecting and promoting indigenous grape varieties, particularly Negroamaro and Primitivo. These sun-drenched varieties are carefully cultivated on about 20 hectares of vines aged 60 to 80 years. The estate stands majestically amidst vast expanses of vineyards, offering a landscape that is both enchanting and picturesque. The vines are cultivated in a calcareous clay soil, resulting in wines of exceptional concentration and a finesse on the palate that is absent from the rustic reputation of southern Italian wines. The Domaine Feudi di Guagnano is recognized for the remarkable quality of its wines. They are the result of meticulous winemaking, where every detail counts. Here, nature is respected; the balance between tradition and modernity is found through winemaking without added yeasts to preserve all the typicality and authenticity of the terroir. Among the pearls produced by this estate, one can mention the Feudi Negramaro, a red with aromas of cherry and cocoa, the Nardo Rosso Riserva which boasts a bright ruby robe, aromas of red berries and licorice, or the Primitivo, a powerful and elegant wine with notes of black fruits and spices.
