Abruzzo is an Italian wine region located on the eastern (Adriatic) coast. Abruzzo has one DOCG - Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Colline Teramane - and three DOC wine appellations. The region's star varieties are the native red Montepulciano and white Trebbiano.
