The Domaine Durieu is a vineyard located in La Motte-dʼAigues in the department of Vaucluse in the southern Rhône in France. It's a perfect illustration of the vineyards of Provence, situated along the foothills of the Alps. Since past centuries, the vine has been cultivated on small plots and produces exceptional wines, bottled by the Domaine. Located west of the town of Cavaillon, the Domaine Durieu extends over lands conducive to vine cultivation over an area of 50 hectares. The orientation of the vineyards, their slopes and their exposure to sunlight are perfectly adapted to obtain optimal yields from grape varieties such as Mourvèdre, Syrah, Grenache, Marsanne, Roussane and Viognier. The Domaine cultivates its vines with an exemplary commitment to respecting the best practices in environmentally friendly viticulture. The vineyard is registered as a sustainable vineyard by RAISINIDCAM, an independent international control organization that certifies the sustainable development of vineyards. The range produced by the Domaine Durieu is well represented by red, rosé and white wines. The red wines, deep ruby red, blend notes of red and ripe fruit with notes of flowers and wood. The rosés, rather fresh and fruity, are made from a blend of Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre grapes. As for the white wines, they present floral notes as well as a seductive bouquet of exotic fruits. The Domaine Durieu is half an hour from the historic towns of Avignon and L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. The Dureu family has received numerous awards and recognition for their wines, including the 4 stars of duty and authentication by the Interprofessional Council of Vine and Wine (CIVC) for their white wines. All these distinctions make the Domaine Durieu an ideal haunt for all wine lovers.
