This variety is said to be the result of a natural cross between folle blanche and ugni blanc. The wine region of Grignan-les-Adhémar is located in the region of Rhône méridional of Rhone Valley of France. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine de Grangeneuve or the Château Bizard produce mainly wines red, white and pink.
