The wine region of Francs - Côtes de Bordeaux

Smallest and most continental Bordeaux AOC (renamed 2009, clay-limestone): Merlot signature red king (~50%) complemented by Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon — remarkable power and harmony, beautiful tannic structure with deep aromas of plum, blueberry, leather and vanilla oak nuances, decade-long ageing. Sauvignon, Sémillon and Muscadelle in complex whites with floral notes, citrus, dried fruits and honey.

The wine region of Bordeaux

World-renowned age-worthy reds, led by round Merlot (plum, black fruit) or firm Cabernet Sauvignon (blackcurrant, cedar, graphite), blended with Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot for tannic structure. Structured Médoc and Graves, velvety Saint-Émilion and Pomerol. Also crisp dry whites (Sauvignon/Sémillon) and opulent sweet Sauternes with honey and candied fruit. A 110,000 ha Gironde vineyard, 65 appellations, cradle of the 1855 classified growths.

The word of the wine: Organic (agriculture)

A type of agriculture (and therefore viticulture) based on respect for living organisms and biological cycles, and which excludes the use of synthetic treatment products and synthetic fertilizers. Organic farming is guaranteed by the respect of a set of specifications.
