This property belongs to the Gervoson family (family property since 1989) and is characterized by its unique terroirs, its ancestral know-how, and its limited production. The Pavie Macquin estate is characterized by a chalky and gravelly soil, which is typical of the Saint-Émilion region to which it belongs. The wines from the estate come from a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon of very high quality. The wine is then aged for 18 months in new French oak barrels, giving it a beautiful color and rich intensity.
