Château Le Puy, located in Francs-Côtes de Bordeaux in France, is a vineyard estate extending over 23 hectares. It consists of a vineyard of 17.5 hectares of cabernet-sauvignon, merlot, malbec, cabernet franc and semillon grapes, all grown on clay-limestone soil. Founded in 1707, the estate has been frequently modernized and rearranged to produce premium wines, representative of the terroir and the ancestral expertise of the region. Château Le Puy produces three classified growths of Bordeaux: Le Puy, La Grave and Esquirou, each distinguished by their unique characteristics of terroir and fruit, unique to each cuvée. Château Le Puy also employs modern methods to ensure that their wines develop perfectly, including control of temperatures and winemaking stages and the cellar equipped with new barrels. Château Le Puy also offers wine tasting tours, which take place in a romantic and eccentric setting, composed of both old and modern buildings, and offering a breathtaking view of the vineyard.
