Château La Clotte is a wine estate registered under the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation d'origine contrôlée, situated in the heart of the Saint-Émilion region, within the magnificent vineyards of the Gironde. The estate is illustrious, but also rich in history going back to the 11th century. Over the centuries, it has had many distinguished guests from the 13th century onwards, including the Kings of France and England. The vineyards of Château La Clotte are situated on a stony terrain, reaching varied altitudes between 90-125 meters. The different varieties represented are: Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, which are complemented by a hint of Malbec.
