In France, it is one of the six hybrids prohibited since 1935 (included in European regulations): Clinton, herbemont, isabelle, jacquez, noah and othello. The wine region of Cachapoal Valley is located in the region of Rapel Valley of Central Valley of Chile. Wineries and vineyards like the Viña Vik Winery or the Domaine Lapostolle produce mainly wines red, white and pink.
