Star of the Loire as a single variety (Chinon, Bourgueil, Saumur-Champigny) and of the right bank of Bordeaux in blends (Cheval Blanc at 60%). Also in semi-dry Anjou rosés. Michigan AVA, ~31 km peninsula in Grand Traverse Bay (Lake Michigan), near-maritime climate moderated by the waters. Riesling signature cool-climate white king: tense and chiseled with lime, green apple, peach, white flowers, honey and slate touch, vibrant palate from dry to off-dry. Precise Chardonnay (citrus, butter), full Pinot Gris, aromatic Gewürztraminer (lychee, rose). Fine Pinot Noir (cherry, raspberry), peppery Cabernet Franc, supple Merlot.
