Tiny Provençal AOC (1948) near Aix-en-Provence, on calcareous scree slopes of Langesse in a sheltered cirque. Grenache, Mourvèdre and Cinsault (≥80%) as signature reds and rosés: rich notes of red fruits, garrigue, spices, leather and balsamic touch, firm tannins and warm mouthfeel. Rare Clairette-based white (≥55%): floral, honey, almond, white truffle, anise and evolving balsamic touch, excellent for ageing. Legendary Château Simone.
