The wine region of Villeneuve is located in the region of Chablais of Vaud of Switzerland. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Clos du Châtelard or the Domaine Clos du Châtelard produce mainly wines white, red and pink. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Villeneuve are Chasselas, Pinot noir and Gamaret, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Villeneuve often reveals types of flavors of tree fruit, citrus fruit or non oak and sometimes also flavors of oak.
In the mouth of Villeneuve is a with a nice freshness. We currently count 10 estates and châteaux in the of Villeneuve, producing 32 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Villeneuve go well with generally quite well with dishes of beef, lamb or pork.
