The wine region of Vidigueira is located in the region of Alentejo of Alentejano of Portugal. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Paulo Laureano or the Domaine Paulo Laureano produce mainly wines red, white and sparkling. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Vidigueira are Touriga nacional et Alvarinho, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Vidigueira often reveals types of flavors of oaky, vanilla or non oak and sometimes also flavors of oak, spices or red fruit.
In the mouth of Vidigueira is a powerful. We currently count 6 estates and châteaux in the of Vidigueira, producing 27 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Vidigueira go well with generally quite well with dishes of beef, lamb or veal.
