The wine region of Fthiotida is located in the region of Continental Greece of Greece. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine La Tour Melas or the Domaine La Tour Melas produce mainly wines red and pink. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Fthiotida are Agiorgitiko, Merlot and Cabernet franc, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Fthiotida often reveals types of flavors of non oak, earth or oak and sometimes also flavors of red fruit, microbio or spices.
We currently count 3 estates and châteaux in the of Fthiotida, producing 9 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Fthiotida go well with generally quite well with dishes of beef, pork or game (deer, venison).
