Discover the grape variety: Groppello

Supple and fruity reds with a clear ruby robe, smooth tannins and a charming palate, with signature aromas of cherry, raspberry, violet, soft spices and typical bitter notes. Also the star of the Chiaretto del Garda rosés — lively and delicate. The aromatic signature of the Lombard shore of Lake Garda, mainly in Valtènesi. Native Italian black grape from Lombardy, grown on the shores of Lake Garda.

The wine region of Gioia del Colle

DOC of Apulia on the central Murge plateau south of Bari, limestone plateau at 200–500 m, among the highest in Apulia, cooler climate than Salento. Primitivo is the flagship red (historic cradle alongside Manduria): ample and structured with notes of blackberry, black cherry, plum, herbs, pepper and a balsamic touch, fine tannins and refreshing acidity — more elegant and slender than Manduria. Montepulciano, Sangiovese and Negroamaro blends as complement. A cooler alternative.

The wine region of Puglia

Heel of the boot, 80% red vineyard, sunny and generous. Fleshy, jammy Primitivo (= Zinfandel) with notes of black cherry, plum, chocolate and spices, powerful alcohol and melted tannins, a star in Primitivo di Manduria. Deep, structured Negroamaro (black-bitter) with a bitter finish in Salice Salentino. Structured Nero di Troia, spicy Susumaniello.

The word of the wine: White Grenache

White grape variety cultivated mainly in Spain and a little in the south of France (southern Rhône valley, Languedoc-Roussillon). It is the white variety of Grenache noir. It is used in the blending of several white wines (dry wines or natural sweet wines) to which it gives richness, fatness and floral notes.
