The wine region of Faro is located in the region of Sicile of Italy. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Palari or the Domaine Tenuta Enza La Fauci produce mainly wines red. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Faro are Nerello mascalese, Nero d'Avola and Sangiovese, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Faro often reveals types of flavors of cherry, earthy or tobacco and sometimes also flavors of leather, mushroom or non oak.
