The wine region of Evora
DOC sub-region at the heart of Portuguese Upper Alentejo (around the historic city, fertile brown and red Mediterranean soils, continental microclimate with marked temperature variations, cold winters and hot summers, 500–800 mm rainfall). Aragonez (Tempranillo), Trincadeira and Periquita as signature indigenous reds — aromas of red berries, dense, balanced tannins and fine preserved acidity.
