The Pieropan Estate is nestled in the picturesque heart of Soave Classico in Italy, a region globally renowned for its white wines of exceptional quality. For several generations, the Pieropan family has dedicated their expertise, passion and love to the cultivation of grapes and the production of excellent wines. Spread over an area of 58 hectares, the estate is characterized by rolling vineyards that surround the impressive Italian Renaissance-style villa, flanked by its modern winemaking facilities. The vineyard derives its particularity from its volcanic soil rich in tuff, limestone and basalt, thus giving a uniqueness and unique complexity to its wines. The viticultural approach of the Pieropan Estate emphasizes respect for biodiversity and nature. Organic farming is practiced, conveying values of ecology and sustainability. Thus, the vines are grown without pesticides or herbicides and the harvest is done exclusively by hand, preserving the integrity of the fruits for the formation of high-quality wines. The beauty of this domain is complimented by the diversity of its grape varieties. The king of these varietals is the Garganega, followed by the Trebbiano di Soave, cultivated to produce the famous Soave Classico. However, other varieties like Rondinella and Corvina are also present to compose the red wine Valpolicella. In the cellar, a blend of innovation and tradition animates the winemaking process. Centenary methods blend harmoniously with the most modern technologies to create elegant and balanced wines that faithfully reflect the terroir and heritage of the estate. The Pieropan Estate is also more than just a wine producer. It's a welcoming place where the history, culture and gastronomy of the region are honored.
