Star of the Loire as a single variety (Chinon, Bourgueil, Saumur-Champigny) and of the right bank of Bordeaux in blends (Cheval Blanc at 60%). Also in semi-dry Anjou rosés. High-altitude Australian region (600-1,100 m) in New South Wales: signature Chardonnay as king white — racy and mineral with notes of lively citrus, green apple, pear, white flowers and a chalky touch, chiselled acidity preserved by the cool climate.
