The wine region of Fraser Valley

Emerging wine region of British Columbia east of Vancouver, cool maritime climate with abundant rainfall tempered by the Pacific, organic silty soils. Pinot Noir is the signature red: precise and expressive with notes of cherry, raspberry, flowers, and a spiced touch, fine tannins. Spiced Pinot Gris and taut Chardonnay as whites. Cool-climate hybrids Bacchus, Siegerrebe, and Reichensteiner with aromatic notes of citrus, elderflower, and muscat.

The wine region of British Columbia

Canada's west-coast benchmark, wine heartland in the Okanagan Valley. Semi-desert continental climate, marked temperature swings: signature Pinot Gris (pear, honey, spice, round palate), fresh, fine Pinot Noir (cherry, undergrowth), precise Chardonnay and taut Riesling in the north. Hot south for dense Cabernet Sauvignon, round Merlot and peppery Syrah. Also exceptional Icewine (Vidal, Riesling).

The word of the wine: Trimmer

Elevated tractor that allows you to pass through the vineyards by straddling them.
