AVA in Trans-Pecos Texas (Pecos County, plateau at 2,600 ft between mesas, arid desert climate, 5th Texas AVA 1992). Signature Cabernet Sauvignon: sun-drenched, tannic red with blackberry, blackcurrant, spice and balsamic-desert notes, thick skins sun-resistant. Tempranillo (Spanish clone) and Grenache as firm blacks-fruited reds. Syrah with intense black olive, pepper and savoury-mineral notes.
