The wine region of Amyndeon is located in the region of Florina of Macedonia of Greece. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Alpha Estate (Κτήμα Αλφα) or the Domaine Kir Yianni produce mainly wines red, sparkling and pink. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Amyndeon are Xinomavro, Assyrtiko and Merlot, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Amyndeon often reveals types of flavors of cherry, red fruit or citrus and sometimes also flavors of tropical, grapefruit or cream.
