Structured, elegant, age-worthy reds with a deep purple colour, firm tannins and an ample palate showing complex aromas of black fruits (cassis, blackberry), spices, balsamic notes and toasty nuances from ageing. A coveted, confidential cult wine. Grown almost exclusively by the Rogosky family in Tuscany (Podere Il Carnasciale) for a mythical single-estate cuvée. A rare Italian variety, a spontaneous cross of Cabernet Franc × Merlot discovered in Tuscany in the 1960s.

The wine region of Graubünden
Wine canton of eastern German-speaking Switzerland (Grisons), 423 ha at the heart of the Bündner Herrschaft (Fläsch, Maienfeld, Malans, Jenins). Signature Pinot Noir (Blauburgunder, >70%): reds among the noblest in Switzerland, fine and silky with notes of cherry, raspberry, undergrowth, sweet spices and a limestone mineral touch, delicate tannins - compared to the great Burgundies. Schistous limestone soils, a climate tempered by the foehn (warmest area of German-speaking Switzerland).
The word of the wine: Sweet (flavor)
The flavour provided by the residual sugars naturally present in the wine as well as by certain alcohols. This sensation can range from a simple impression of smoothness to a clear sweetness. We speak of roundness, fatness and mellowness.
