The Estate is the realization of the Mondavi family, a highly respected winemaking dynasty that is an integral part of the history of wine in Napa Valley. Founded in 2005 by Tim Mondavi, with his sister Marcia and his children, Continuum Estate was born from the desire to perpetuate the family's winemaking tradition by producing world-class wines. The estate consists of 173 acres of hilly lands, of which only 38 are cultivated as vineyards, demonstrating the estate's commitment to the preservation of the local environment. Continuum uses sustainable and organic practices, being fully aware of the importance of an ecological approach to viticulture. The other lands of the estate are dedicated to biodiversity, with centuries-old oak trees and a variety of indigenous plants. The terroir of Continuum Estate is truly unique, with rocky volcanic soils that give the wines an authentic expression of the place.
