The wine region of Cachapoal Valley is located in the region of Rapel Valley of Central Valley of Chile. Wineries and vineyards like the Viña Vik Winery or the Domaine Lapostolle produce mainly wines red, white and pink. It is the only hybrid to remain authorized in a French appellation vineyard, that of Armagnac, where it thrives in particular on the tawny sands of Bas-Armagnac.
