Simple, fruity reds to drink young, with a clear ruby robe, soft tannins and an airy palate on discreet red fruit (cherry, strawberry) and floral notes. Confidential southern heritage profile. Now virtually absent from commercial production, preserved in a few ampelographic collections for its patrimonial and historical interest. The wine region of Bordeaux

World-renowned age-worthy reds, led by round Merlot (plum, black fruit) or firm Cabernet Sauvignon (blackcurrant, cedar, graphite), blended with Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot for tannic structure. Structured Médoc and Graves, velvety Saint-Émilion and Pomerol. Also crisp dry whites (Sauvignon/Sémillon) and opulent sweet Sauternes with honey and candied fruit. A 110,000 ha Gironde vineyard, 65 appellations, cradle of the 1855 classified growths.

The word of the wine: Broker

In the past, he was a sort of fraud control agent who had to watch over the quality of merchant wines (he could carry a sword!). His function has evolved towards expertise (it was the brokers who established the famous 1855 classification in Bordeaux) and today he puts the producer in contact with the merchant.
