The wine region of Pécharmant

Bergerac AOC north of the Dordogne, right bank (south-facing semicircle, ~400 ha): signature blend of Merlot (41%), Cabernet Sauvignon (36%), Cabernet Franc (16%) and Malbec (7%) as the exclusive red king — dense dark robe, aromas of black fruit (cassis, blackberry), vanilla and spice notes, ample mouth rich in tannins, generous and well-structured, 15-20 year ageing. Sand and gravel of the Périgord over ferruginous "Tran", Massif Central.

The wine region of South West

French mosaic of strong identities south of Bordeaux. Cahors and its Malbec ("black wine"): deep reds with notes of blackberry, plum, violet, tobacco and cocoa, firm tannins. Madiran and its dense, age-worthy Tannat. Jurançon whites: golden sweet (apricot, honey, pineapple) and lively dry from Petit Manseng.

The word of the wine: Powerful

Rich, full-bodied, corpulent wine.
