The Château de Camensac wine estate is located in Haut-Médoc, in Cussac, near the famous Paulliac appellation. This historic property includes 45 hectares of vineyards, spread between the clayey lands of Haut-Médoc and the limestone soils to the west. Château de Camensac traces its origins back to the 11th century as a fief of the de Fumel family. Despite historical changes, the family has preserved its heritage and today produces Château de Camensac wines that are considered one of the best expressions of the Haut-Médoc terroir. The Château de Camensac is planted with typical Haut-Médoc grape varieties, including Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot. The vines are cultivated using traditional methods, while respecting the environment and relying on the use of responsible herbicide and healthy cultural practices.
