The wine region of Progreso is located in the region of Canelones of Uruguay. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Pisano or the Domaine Viña Progreso produce mainly wines red, white and sweet. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Progreso are Tannat, Merlot and Cabernet-Sauvignon, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety.
